My native food in a foreign country 2 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I have been living in a foreign land for a while now, but today i really miss my native food back from my hometown, so I went to an Asian store, because I wanted to buy Coconut milk and glutinous rice. I was suprised to know that Coconut milk originated from the Netherlands and the gutinous rice comes from Thailand. Nevertheless, I am happy about it

What about you, who is also a foreighner who wanted to eat your traditional food even if you are not in your country. Can you also share to me your experiences regarding how you cope up with the food that you wanted to eat? Where do you source your food which is traditional in your country?

I am from Europe but lived long in Asia. Sometimes I missed the food, but mostly I enjoyed the native food, except for dogs, eye balls, etc.
I don't liek food, which I gave a name or which is looking at me.
