A Group D (not classifiable as to human carcinogenicity) is Compounds for which human and animal data are
inadequate to either suggest or refute a cause-and-effect relationship for human carcinogenicity. In the national-scale assessment, only manganese compounds were considered to be not classifiable as to human carcinogenicity.
