Flow volume curve
A Flow volume curve is Graph of instantaneous forced expiratory flow recorded at the mouth, against corresponding lung volume. When recorded over the full vital capacity, the curve includes maximum expiratory flow rates at all lung volumes in the VC range and is called a maximum expiratory flow-volume curve (MEFV). A partial expiratory flow-volume curve (PEFV) is one which describes maximum expiratory flow rate over a portion of the vital capacity only.
