Carbon sinks
Carbon sinks are Carbon reservoirs and conditions that take-in and store more carbon (i.e., carbon sequestration) than they release. Carbon sinks can serve to partially offset greenhouse gas emissions. Forests and oceans are large Carbon sinks. See carbon sequestration.
