The Aerial Photography is the method of taking photographs from an aerial platform (aircraft, helicopter, zeppelin, blimp).

1) Vertical photography, sometimes called orthophotography is used for photogrammetric mapping and requires a high degree of accuracy.

2) Oblique photography is used for general information, sometimes to verify certain attributes, but does not provide accurate measurements for photogrammetric mapping.
