A Conditionally Exempt Generators (CE) is Persons or enterprises which produce less than 220 pounds of Hazardous Waste per month. Exempt from most regulation, they are required merely to determine whether their waste is hazardous, notify appropriate state or local agencies, and ship it by an authorized transporter to a permitted facility for proper disposal.
