Landsat 7 Satellite is a U.S. satellite used to acquire remotely sensed images of the Earth's land surface and surrounding coastal regions.

The goal of the satellite program is to improve our understanding of the Earth as an integrated system, including how it responds to natural and human-induced disturbances.
