A Cytoplasm is the organized complex of inorganic and organic substances external to the nucleus of a cell including fluid and organelles (specialized parts of the cell that are analogous to organs, e.g., Mitochondria or ribosomes).

Cytotoxicity in the environmental context refers to the quality of being toxic to cells.
