A Histamine is a depressor amine derived from the amino Acid histidine and found in all body tissues, with the highest Concentration in the lung; a powerful stimulant of gastric secretion, a constrictor of bronchial smooth muscle, and a vasodilator that causes a fall in blood pressure.
