The Document Control describes the policies and procedures used by an organization to ensure that its written activities and reports, and their revisions, are reviewed, approved for release, inventoried, distributed, archived, stored, and retrieved in accordance with the organization"s requirements.

The DOE-2 Model is a computer program that simulates hourly building Energy use. It is an international benchmark used as the basis for building standards in the U.S. and other countries.

A domain is the areal extent of a resource; the region occupied by a resource.

A Domestic Application is Pesticide application in and around houses, office buildings, motels, and other living or working areas.(See: residential use.)

A domestic water use is water used for household purposes, such as drinking, food preparation, bathing, washing clothes, dishes, and dogs, flushing toilets, and watering lawns and gardens.

A dose denotes the quantity of radiation or Energy absorbed. Dose may refer to the following:

A Dose Equivalent is the product of the Absorbed Dose from Ionizing radiation and such factors as account for biological differences due to the type of radiation and its distribution

A Dose Rate is In Exposure assessment, dose per time unit (e.g. mg/day), sometimes also called dosage.

A Dose Response is Shifts in toxicological responses of an individual (such as alterations in severity) or populations (such as alterations in incidence) that are related to changes in the dose of any given substance.

A Dose Response Curve is Graphical representation of the relationship between the dose of a stressor and the biological response thereto.
